Tregalana Stage 1

Climate Capital acquired the 2MW Tregalana Stage 1 project in early 2021, finalised pre-delivery, and commenced construction shortly thereafter using an east-west oriented fixed peg system. Stage 1 was commissioned in June 2022 for a co-located behind the meter energy offtaker.

Tregalana Stage 2

During the delivery of the Tregalana Stage 1 project Climate Capital identified the commercial opportunity to commence an additional Stage 2 project, leveraging the shovel-ready status of the site, technical specifications of the electricity network, and established relationships. Stage 2 was commissioned in March 2023.

Junee Solar Farm

The third project commenced by Climate Capital, commissioned in June 2023, is the greenfield 2.3MW Junee solar farm. This project is co-located to provide energy directly behind the metre to a large agribusiness, which is the region’s largest employer and anchors the local community and economy.

Bell Bay Solar Farm

The 4.95MW AC Bell Bay Solar Farm is currently Tasmania’s largest grid-connected solar farm. It is located within the Bell Bay Advanced Manufacturing Zone with additional land earmarked for co-located hydrogen production for local consumption in late 2024.
